Asgardian Artist
Artist Alley Score:
10/10
This is the artist alley to sign up for if you love anime and are selling content that will appeal to these audiences! This one-day con is located inside of a Hilton, but don't be fooled by its small location. Despite its size, the turnout tends to be impressive each year according to repeat attendees. My first time at this event, lines to get into the artist section were out into the parking lot and people were eager to buy!
Booth costs were $115 (without any add-ons) and included a 6ft table and 2 Staff Passes. The few other artists I had the time to talk to mentioned they did great at this event so it seems likely you'd be making that cost back! Sign ups are first come first serve though, rather than jury, so you shouldnt have a hard time joining as long as they have availability. Augusta fest has two other events happening 2024, another Anime Fest and a Comic Fest; definitely keep an eye out if you haven't checked them out before!
General Attendee Score:
9/10Â
This con has cosplay contests, food, voice actor guests (some dragon ball and one piece VAs were at one i attended!), and about 30 vendors. They make great use of their limited space and with attendance seemingly growing, I wouldn't be surprised if they upgraded their venue soon. I gave this one a 9/10 because as a general attendee, it might be too crowded and you may have to wait in line to get in if you get there later in the day. Definitely seems worth the cheap $20 entry tickets (plus kids under 11 are free)!

This was definitely one of the best cons I've done! It wasn't my first time being there but it was the first time that many people showed up and they were ready to buy. I heard that every vender did pretty good and this convention was definitely better than some three or two day conventions I have signed up for in the past. I 100% will continue to attend this time every chance I get and I also 100% recommended to any artist. I didn't get the opportunity to explore it as an attendee because I was so busy the whole time but it did look like an enjoyable experience for everyone who went vendors or otherwise. 10s across the board! ♡♡♡♡♡
This con is great fun.! There was an amazing mix of booths, celebrities and cosplay to enjoy. It is a hotel conference room venue that packs the celebrities, artists and fans in tight together. While this is great for great for traffic exposure, I did hear some of the attendees complain about the long lines and wait time to get into the venue. For me as a boother this was a fantastic problem to have-everyone funneling into the same area. I sold out surprisingly quick and soon had customers picking apart my displays desperate for more merch. The artist alley tables were reasonably priced at just over $100 for a 6ft table space so, I made a decent profit. I did better at this location than some of the 3 day cons. I will be signing up for this con every chance I get.
